Solar Power. Simplified.

Regardless of your agency’s primary goal—reduced dependence on fossil fuel, operational savings, compliance with EPACT and Executive Orders 13423 & 13514, or small business contracting—Spire will tailor your solution to deliver maximum benefits.

Spire appreciates how burdensome a lengthy RFQ procurement process can be for government agencies. We also understand the imperative for agencies to procure products and services according to Federal Acquisition Rules (FAR) and/or ARRA, as well as agency-specific mandates. Therefore, we have established two procurement vehicles to speed the process of acquiring turnkey PV systems while maintaining compliance and ensuring you receive a competitively-priced product:

UNICOR Interagency ProcurementUNICOR Interagency Procurement

Spire’s Teaming Agreement with UNICOR allows Federal buyers to utilize an extremely flexible procurement option (an interagency agreement) to streamline the process of acquiring PV systems. This approach allows Federal customers to commit their current budgets to solar initiatives before they expire, then access the funds over time to build systems, and offers attractive financial options: buyers can enjoy the advantages of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) under 20-year contacting authority., and can also leverage UNICOR’s unique ability to realize revenue from Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) or state rebate programs.

GSA Schedule ProcurementGSA Schedule Procurement

Spire Solar Systems was awarded a United States General Services Administration (GSA) contract (GS-07F-0254W), and is listed on GSA's Schedule 56 under Special Identification Numbers (SINs) 206-3, 412-50, and 412-51 as a Small Business entity. This contracting option allows Federal customers to instantaneously procure fully-integrated turnkey PV systems from Spire—selecting from a wide range of standard configurations or in concert with custom-designed services. Spire’s GSA pricing schedule is based off discounts to our most favored commercial customers—ensuring market competitive discounts, pre-negotiated by GSA.
