Spire’s Teaming Agreement with UNICOR allows Federal buyers to utilize an extremely flexible procurement option (an interagency agreement) to streamline the process of acquiring PV systems. This approach allows Federal customers to commit their current budgets to solar initiatives before they expire, then access the funds over time to build systems, and offers attractive financial options: buyers can enjoy the advantages of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) under 20-year contacting authority., and can also leverage UNICOR’s unique ability to realize revenue from Solar Renewable Energy Certificates (SRECs) or state rebate programs.
Spire Solar Systems was awarded a United States General Services Administration (GSA) contract (GS-07F-0254W), and is listed on GSA's Schedule 56 under Special Identification Numbers (SINs) 206-3, 412-50, and 412-51 as a Small Business entity. This contracting option allows Federal customers to instantaneously procure fully-integrated turnkey PV systems from Spire—selecting from a wide range of standard configurations or in concert with custom-designed services. Spire’s GSA pricing schedule is based off discounts to our most favored commercial customers—ensuring market competitive discounts, pre-negotiated by GSA.
