Alignment and Transfer of Cells and Cell Strings

Equipment and stations manufactured to align, pick up and transfer interconnected solar cells, or strings, from storage trays onto module substrates.

Spi-Vac Pik™ 6600

A vacuum pick-and-place machine that provides gentle and accurate alignment of strings to other module materials then transfers interconnected solar cells (strings) from trays to a string alignment table.

Spi-Module Lay-Up Station™ 2000

Automatically aligns and places completed solar cell strings in position for module assembly – can be implemented as an option to the Spi-Assembler 6000, or as standalone equipment.

Spi-Auto Busing 1200

A feature-rich automated station that measures, cuts, positions and inductively solders bus ribbon to photovoltaic modules.

Manual Busing Station

The Manual Busing Station includes a convenient ball table with ribbon dispensing, cutting and soldering tools to allow fast and accurate busing of strings after they have been laid out onto the glass and EVA.
